Meet Kelvin Cooke…

Logic & Rhetoric Elective Teacher: Walk Worthy, Redeem the Day and Physical Education

Kelvin Cooke, and his wife Kim will have been married for 33 years this December. They have two adult children their daughter, Isabel and their son Carson. Their son and his wife Madison had their first child (a boy), Beckham, in September. They are loving being grandparents! : ) Kelvin serves as church administrator and as a lay elder at Citylight church in Roanoke. He also serves as a fitness instructor for Green Ridge Recreation Center. Before that he was a pastor for almost 25 years. He has pastored at churches in Washington, Iowa and Ohio. Kelvin graduated from Breckbill Bible College (formerly known as Manahath School of Theology, Hollidaysburg, PA) with BA in Pastoral Minstries. He also has in M. Div. from Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake, IN). He and his wife Kim also completed a Lay Biblical Counseling course in 2022 and now have a certificate of Lay Biblical Counseling.

He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His favorite hobbies include: fishing, hiking, working out, and pickleball. He is excited about the opportunity God has given him at CCA to make a spiritual impact on the next generation by pouring into their lives and by being an example of Christ to these young men and women!
