The Grammar School consists of kindergarten through fifth grade and meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Grammar School students are instructed in the following subjects:

  • Nature Studies and Science Exploration

  • Reading Instruction

  • Bible

  • History

  • Math

  • Artist and Composer Studies

  • Literature, Writing, and Grammar

  • Handwriting and Penmanship

  • Geography

All Grammar School students in kindergarten through third grade are instructed in reading and phonics by a reading specialist using the All About Reading program.

Nature studies is an aspect of our curriculum which runs throughout the Grammar School in all grades. Memory work is incorporated throughout all grade levels on an age appropriate basis.

Grammar School also offers a third day option on Thursdays for an additional fee. On this enrichment day students may participate in classes such as nature studies, art instruction, cultural studies, handicrafts, math enrichment, and other possible options. Electives offered will vary based on student and teacher availability as well as enrollment.

School Grades: Our Grammar School operates on a skills driven curriculum. Skills are informally assessed accordingly: additional help needed, progressing toward expectation, and meets expectations. Once students reach 6th grade, we offer official grades and transcripts to all students.
