Meet Malia Bishop…

Logic History & Bible Teacher, Creative Writing, & Interior Design Teacher

Malia Bishop was born and raised in Northcentral Ohio, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Her love of teaching was evident at a young age as she played teacher & gathered neighborhood children for school lessons! Professionally, she has taught in various educational settings and has been blessed to homeschool throughout the past 15 years.

She moved to the Roanoke area in 2005, and married her amazing husband, Dave, who makes her laugh daily! They have 4 fantastic children: Zeb, Gabriel, Isabella, and Josiah. Spending time with her family brings Malia much joy! From hiking the mountains to outlet shopping, swimming, or riding roller coasters, they always have fun together!

A creator of home with a passion for decorating, Malia also delights in bringing new life to spaces! She appreciates beauty and comfort, meaningful objects, and an abundance of books and plants!

Malia loves to study the Bible and serve others. The Bishop family attends Calvary Memorial Church, where Malia and Dave have the privilege of serving in youth ministry.
