Meet Constance Hull…
Debate and Creative Writing Teacher
Constance T. Hull grew up in the expansive and spectacularly beautiful Big Sky state of Montana. She has a deep love of God's creation and the rugged Rockies because of her childhood. At 18 years of age she enlisted in the United States Navy where she served as a Second Class Petty Officer Russian Linguist (CTI2). During her 6 years in the Navy she lived in Illinois, California, Texas, Washington D.C. metro area, and England. In response to the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, she volunteered for 45 days as a relief worker at the Pentagon Family Assistance Center serving the families of the 184 people killed at the Pentagon.
Following her military service, Constance returned to Montana to finish her bachelor's degree. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montana State University-Billings. After graduating in 2008, she was awarded a defense intern position at the prestigious conservative think-tank, The Heritage Foundation, on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The internship provided an opportunity to engage with policy analysts, politicians, and congressional staff. Her favorite moment was getting the chance to meet Gary Sinise of Lt. Dan fame from the movie Forrest Gump at a film opening at The National Press Club. She quickly learned her future was not in politics, so she left D.C. for good and began her many years of living in the Appalachian Mountains.
Public speaking has been a part of Constance's life from an early age. Her parents met in college when they were assigned as debate partners. She followed in their footsteps by competing in Varsity Lincoln-Douglas and Policy Debate in high school. She returned to her high school during undergrad as a debate coach. Constance has been a speaker at multiple conferences and events. She has a Master's in Theology from Catholic Distance University. She is a published writer and weekly contributor to Catholic Exchange. She loves to read and spend time with Our Lord in prayer and at church.
Constance has been married to her husband Phil for 14 years. They have one daughter, Michaela, and five babies with Our Lord. She and her family love camping, hiking, gardening, canoeing, and above all else, serving the Lord in various ministries and attending Mass. Constance served as a substitute teacher during the 2023-2024 school year and is looking forward to joining the faculty in the coming year!
