Additional Fees and Expenses
In addition to tuition, families should plan for the following expenses.
Application Fee: $35 per student (nonrefundable)
Enrollment Fee: $305 per family (nonrefundable)
Literature Books: For students in grades 2–8, families are responsible for purchasing required literature books. A detailed book list, including the required editions and ISBNs, will be provided before the start of the school year. Purchasing the specified editions ensures that students are reading the same texts. Estimated costs range from $50–$125 per student per year, depending on grade level.
Rhetoric School: Required literature books for Rhetoric School students are purchased by CCA and billed to families.
Curriculum Materials and Consumables: CCA bills families for required consumable instructional materials used throughout the school year. These may include math workbooks, handwriting books, science notebooks, reading workbooks, IEW workbooks, and grammar workbooks in the Grammar School, as well as math, grammar, writing, and Latin workbooks, laboratory fees, and other required consumables in the Logic and Rhetoric Schools. Estimated costs range from $75–$175 per student per year, depending on grade level and coursework.
Electives: Some electives require additional fees or supplies. Examples may include food science, cybersecurity courses, computer information systems classes, and individual piano or violin lessons.
Dual Enrollment Courses: College courses taken through dual enrollment have additional fees that are not included in standard CCA tuition.
Multiple-Student Discount
CCA offers a multiple-student tuition discount beginning with the third child enrolled in the family. Please contact CCA for details.
