Meet Erin Carroll…

Grammar School: 3rd Grade Teacher

Erin has a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Virginia. She has a love for children that has been lived out in many ways. Erin began teaching third grade at a local public school when she graduated from college. Four years later, she transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom of her two children. For the past twelve years Erin worked as the director of children's ministry at a local church. She is excited to get back to the classroom with CCA and help her students have fun and be creative as they progress in their learning.

Erin has been a Salem resident her whole life. She loves the mountains and getting to experience all four seasons. Erin and her husband Nathan met in high school and have been married since 2006. They have a daughter, Julia, who enjoys playing tennis and watercolor painting and a son, Mason, who loves being outdoors and creating things from wood and metal. Erin loves spending time with her family whether that's going to the beach for vacation, spending time outside fishing or hiking, playing card or board games, or just cooking and enjoying a meal together. Erin also enjoys watching UVA football and basketball.
