Meet Lise’ Brinkley…
Individual Piano Teacher
Lise’ is an instrumental music teacher and performs on trumpet, piano, alto saxophone and cello. She started on piano in 1965 and on trumpet in 1969 and continued her education to acquire a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University in 1982, and a master’s degree also in Music Education from the University of Kentucky in 1985. She’s been performing, directing and teaching private lessons since 1979 in Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and various other states. She has traveled with Festival of Praise and the Spurrlows from Florida, performed at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg from 1984-1994, and freelances to play for weddings, funerals, and other events. Lise’ and her husband Grant have two grown and married sons and one grandson, and they reside in Botetourt County.
